Here you can see the carbon fiber sticker between the tail lights. There is also the black-out over the third brake light - it says "Mustang GT" when you hit the brakes. A lot of people ask what UNF SUM 1 means.

Just a rear-side picture.

This is a picture of the hood pins installed. They stop the hood from shaking so much at high speeds (or in the winter).

Mustang. Yeah. It is.

Front shot.

Front-side angle. You can see the stripes on this one.

18" Torque-Thrust Cobra Rims.

281KR. This is the engine size (281CI) and King of the Road edition.

Cherry Bomb Extreme axle-back exhaust. This gives the car a 60's to 70's muscle rumble sound.

In the trunk there is a single 12" Rockford Fosgate Punch HX2 in a Q-Logic 12" sealed box. The brackets were installed to stop the box from moving around during hard cornering. The box is NOT screwed down, as this would make it difficult to remove to get to the jack and spare tire.

This is the temporary amp - a Profile California 400SX. This is screwed down to the spare tire cover.

The Mustang door sills looked better when they were new, but these are still pretty good when semi-clean.

Obviously a Cubs fan. These floor mats are fully rubberized bottoms with 2/3 carpet on the top. Great for all seasons.

Here you can see the upgraded dash, the new CD/MP3 player, and that the car is actually stick.

Steering wheel. This is a good drivers view.

Engine shot. JLT II Intake with SCT Tuner. You can see the hood pins were installed using the radiator brackets.

2006 Ford Mustang GT "281KR"
4.6L V8, 5spd, 3.55 gears, Tungsten Grey, 18" Bullit Rims, Stickers
There have been quite a few pictures taken of this car, but this is the first time that they are available online. Many people give the "car guy" nod, a thumbs up, or even a holler when the 281KR drives by. Most people ask questions about it - how it handles in the winter, what the 281KR means, and if the hood pins are real. There is also an increasing number of comments of the car - I like the sound of the muscle, those tires are fat, that's a good color, I'm not a fan of Ford but this is a nice car. And honestly, I never thought I'd own a Ford. Yet, here we are.
